Reed Rivers, CEO River Records, founded his label in Hollywood, California ten years ago, after graduating from UCLA with a BA and MBA in business. Reed’s stated mission? “To bring musical greatness unto the world and make a shit-ton of money doing it.” At this point, most people would probably say mission accomplished. Indeed, Reed’s nickname in the industry is “The Man with the Midas Touch.” But if you ask Reed, he’s only just getting started. With an unparalleled knack for spotting talent and making stars, and a ruthless determination to conquer the world, his way, Reed Rivers has become an icon in the music industry. An unapologetic visionary who’s equally talented at scouting, artist development, holistic marketing, and negotiations.
